Platelet-Rich Fibrin 

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a biomaterial derived from the patient's own blood, used to enhance healing and regeneration after various procedures like tooth extractions, gum grafts, and dental implant placements. It is prepared by centrifuging in the office the patient's blood sample, which concentrates platelets and other growth factors. 

Dr. Hobbs will discuss if PRF will be a beneficial option for you. PRF can be used as a membrane, a scaffold, or mixed with bone grafts to accelerate bone formation, reduce pain, minimize complications, and promote faster, more efficient soft tissue healing.
